Fellow Corpath Members,

On June 6 we all have an opportunity to have some terrific “fun and fellowship” as well as provide some needed funding for Corpath. One of the concerns at the Board level is that Corpath does not have much of a capital reserve fund. Corpath is self-sustaining from Members Ministry support amounts but best practices would say we should have capital reserve funds of likely 3 month’s operating budget. The June 6 fundraiser is intended to start the process of building some capital reserve.

NOW ON TO THE FUN AND FELLOWSHIP……..this event will be enjoyed by anyone who even has the least bit of interest in seeing if they can “dust” some clay pigeons with a shotgun. No experience with guns is required as we will have a guide and coach with each group and all required equipment (gun, ear protectors, shells, etc) are provided. I have done this several times at Silver Willow and it is a fun time. Silver Willow is set up similar to the way you play golf. That is, they have 9 shooting stations set up, each with a different type of challenge. We are in teams of 5 and we move from station to station “dusting” clay pigeons with our talent.

Following the shooting, we will be served a steak dinner and Corpath member and auctioneer Grant Klaiber will MC a silent and live auction. The $250.00 entry fee covers the costs of the shooting, plus dinner. The only fundraising is via the auction. We already have a few top-notch auction items such as hotel stays, a beautiful shotgun, and gift certificates. We are in need of more items so please think about how you or your business might contribute.

Sign up today!!!  You can sign up as an individual or as a team.

See you on June 6,
