We’re thrilled to announce Jutta Wittmeier.
Jutta Wittmeier has served at Mainsprings Pregnancy and Family Support in various capacities for over thirty years. She began her involvement as a volunteer, and has been the Executive Director for the past eleven years.
Jutta has a commitment to providing tools, education, counselling, grief and trauma support as a means of changing outcomes for those who find themselves in difficult circumstances. In her work at Mainsprings she co-authored a book on adoption called Affirming the Birthmother’s Journey.
Jutta is passionate about training and mentoring individuals to become all that God has called them to be so that they can be agents of hope and justice in our hurting world.
Jutta is married and has three adult children. Jutta loves learning, research and reading and admits to a serious book addiction.

We’re thrilled to welcome our special guest, Daryl McAvena, President and Founder of Performance Freight Management and visionary behind RTR Ranch Retreat. Daryl is a passionate advocate for mental health and personal development, dedicated to organizing educational events that raise awareness and provide support for those in need. With a background as a former professional bull rider, Daryl's love for the western lifestyle drives his commitment to giving back to the rodeo community.
As a board member of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine Team, he supports the well-being of athletes in the sport. He also founded a Western lifestyle foundation that creates opportunities for youth in rodeo, inspiring the next generation of riders.
Daryl’s leadership, philanthropy, and passion are complemented by the amazing support of his family: his wife Amanda and their children, Lincoln, Kiara, Hailey, and Brooke.

As the founder of the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre and a former leader of the Concussion in Sports Group, he’ll share his insights and expertise on athlete health and safety and stories from his experience working in Olympic and professional sport.
